We've just received these photos from Rotarian Jorge Uyen of the opening ceremony of the Therapy Room at the Special Children School for the hearing impaired kids in Pisco Peru. 

The room restoration and equipment are all part of our Club contribution to last year's MG. 

Also included in this MG was additional hear aids and medical examination for 13 kids.  Notice the two girls dancing and being able to hear the music.  Fantastic!

Per Jorge this school now has the best therapy room in all of southern Peru.

The RC of Pisco wishes to thank all Golden Rotarians for this magnificent gift.

Nineteen (19) additional kids at the "Special School" were tested and fitted with the correct audio/hearing equipment to help them improve their learning skills and lives.

Pictured are the doctors and staff from the Lima Audio Clinic working with the families and staff during the final "fitting" of the hearing aids. This was followed by a celebration and a native costume dance. 

Next step is the completion of a therapy room inside the school to assist with the training of both the children and staff.
