Coors Bottling Plant Tour
December 16, 2003
Courtesy of Dick Key

Molten glass is dropped into the bottle-making machine.

The bottles are molded.

Red-hot bottles emerge from the machine.

Bottles pass through an oven, to allow them to cool more uniformly inside and out,
thus preventing the glass from shattering too easily.

Don't Touch!  Even after the bottles cool to their normal brown color,
they can still be 800 degrees!

This pallet of bottles will be encased in thick plastic and shipped to the Coors plant.

And now, a Rotary fashion show....
